THE EASTERN CUP is one of the most prestigious golf fundraising events in the region, hosted at the oldest private country club in the United States (1854) - The Philadelphia Cricket Club. Two of the club’s award winning courses, Wissahickon and Militia Hill, are recognized for their outstanding layouts and course conditions, and will also be hosting the Truist Championship in May of 2025.
This special event celebrates Eastern’s Centennial Year, as well as the progress the university has made in its A Time to Rise campaign–a $30 million initiative focused on four key areas: upgrading campus facilities, bolstering opportunities for students, enriching the learning experience, and supporting competition and achievement through athletics, clubs, and offerings. All contributions and sponsorships received through the 2025 Centennial Easter Cup will directly impact these initiatives and enrich the lives of students at Eastern. New in 2025! Pickleball!
Not a golfer? NEW for 2025 we are introducing the Eastern Cup Pickleball Tournament! This 12-team Mixed Doble (3.5 and below levels) Pickleball Tournament will take palce from 2-4:30pm at St. Martins Clubhouse at 415 West Willow Grove Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118. Dinner to follow at the Wissahickon Clubhouse. Access to locker rooms available prior to dinner. Please join us to help kick off this fun inaugural event!
